7660 – Hand Wash Sink with AXION Eye/Face Wash

Model 7660 barrier-free eye wash sink with eye and face wash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly. This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Traditional eyewashes irrigate from the outside edge of the eye back toward the nose, where contaminants can then be flushed into the nasal cavity through the lacrimal punctum, nature’s ocular cavity drain.

Certified by CSA to meet the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment. CSA B125.1, and CSA B45.4 certified. NSF61, ASSE 1017 and ASSE 1070-2015 certified faucet mixing valve.

Safety | Haws Customized AX16 – AXION Advantage® Lab Eye/Face Wash Upgrade Kit

EH&S New Product of the Year Award The Haws AX16 AXION Advantage® eye/face wash system is designed to replace outdated, under-performing or in some cases, non-conforming installed emergency eyewashes with the medically superior AXION® MSR performance. Eyewash streams provide Zero Vertical Velocity™ stream engineering with even laminar flow for enhanced comfort, stability and effectiveness. System includes the AXION MSR eye/face wash head, the necessary connecting hardware, along with a tape measure, eyewash measuring gauge and written guidelines to assure installation complies with the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 standard.

System is designed to replace the eyewash head of some standard laboratory and hose-mounted eyewash stations manufactured by Acorn®, Bradley®, Encon®, Guardian® and Speakman®.

The AXION Advantage system is ANSI compliant when installed correctly based on manufacturer guidelines and when tested against the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 checklist included with the product. The materials provided offer complete ANSI compliance tools and instructions. At the current time, ANSI does not regulate product brands, models, or the interchange of product components.

8315CTFP.220V.8 – AXION® MSR Freeze-Protected Shower and Eye/Face Wash

Haws Model 8315CTFP.220V.8 heat traced combination 220 VAC shower and eye/face wash with redundant freeze bleed valve shall include the 3-way “easy activation, easy return” valve design that provides less ‘dead leg’ water, reducing the threat of Legionella growth. The compact design also allows for economical, safe and fast shipment via UPS. Also provided is the AXION® MSR hydrodynamic designed green ABS plastic 10-5/8″ (26.9 cm) showerhead with integral self-regulating 20 gpm flow control, and AXION MSR eye/face wash head shall feature inverted directional laminar flow which achieves Zero Vertical Velocity™ supplied by an integral 4 gpm flow control. Unit shall also include thermostatically controlled electric heat traced cable protected by 1″ (2.5 cm) insulation and an ABS plastic green jacket that prevents freezing down to ambient temperatures of -30° F, powder-coated cast-iron 9″ (22.9 cm) diameter floor flange, universal sign, 1-1/4″ NPT supply, and rated Class 1, Div 2, Group B, C & D with 1.09 amp max. (For Class 1, Div 1 application, please see the 8317CTFPC1D1)

8315CTFP.8 – AXION® MSR Freeze-Protected Shower and Eye/Face Wash

Haws Model 8315CTFP.8 heat traced combination shower and eye/face wash with redundant freeze bleed valve features a unique 3-way valve which reduces the amount of pressurized pipe and non-pressurized standing water, greatly lowering the amount of “dead leg” water in the system resulting in less opportunity for Legionella growth. Also reduced is the packaging foot print allowing for economical and fast UPS shipment. The unit includes the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly. AXION MSR also offers a new hydrodynamic shower design that minimizes the strong physical pressure that drives the water to the outer rim making the distribution equal across the entire footprint of the flow. Better use of the water flowing through the shower makes it more effective while providing a more comfortable environment by breaking the streams of water into smaller individual droplets. Built-in safety features include: porting for an optional thermal actuator bleed valve, 120V thermostat cable double wrapped piping, 1″ (2.5 cm) insulation surrounding pressurized piping, and outside jacket to prevent freezing, as well as a universal emergency sign.

SP156 – Thermostat for 8315 Series Models

Model SP156 is a thermostat for the heat traced cable outdoor Models 8315CTFP and 8315CTFP.220V. It has hermetically sealed contacts. Opens (rising) at 52° F (11° C) and closes (falling) at 42° F (5.6° C).

SP158.15 – Freeze Bleed Valve for 8315CTFP

Model SP158.15 fully engineered freeze protection valve is specifically designed for the 8315CTFP and is constructed of a one piece brass body, supplied with a removable cartridge for easy cleaning/maintenance, and inlet plumbing and insulation. Automatic thermal actuator bleed valve opens when internal water temperature falls below 35° F (1.7° C) and closes completely when the water climbs back to 42° F (5.6° C). 1/2″ NPTF inlet and outlet.

SP157.15 – Scald Bleed Valve for 8315CTFP

Model SP157.15 is a scald protection bleed valve designed specifically for the 8315CTFP. Recommended for high ambient temperature locations where extreme heat or hot sun might cause internal water overheating. Flushes water through line when internal water temperature reaches 98° F (36.7° C) and closes at 95° F (35° C). Full open temperature is 105° F (40.6° C). 1/2″ NPT inlet and outlet.
