Each quarter, Haws®Corporation supports a specific charity that is voted on by our employees. Our third quarter sponsored charity is, The Food Bank of Northern Nevada. We volunteer to help feed those who are in need as well as raise awareness and donations. The rewarding volunteer work consists of sorting and repacking food at the Food Bank’s warehouse as well as helping distribute food to clients at the many local mobile pantry or senior box sites. We also help out at special events hosted by or benefiting the Food Bank of Northern Nevada.
Just last year the Food Bank of Northern Nevada provided:
- 14,476,189 meals
- 101,000 people served each month
- 135+ partners fighting hunger together
