8317CTFP Config STD-SV – AXION® MSR Freeze-Protected Shower and Eye/Face Wash

Haws Model 8317CTFP  Config STD-SV heat traced combination shower and eye/face wash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly (patent pending). This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Haws Model 8315CTFP.220V.8 heat traced combination 220 VAC shower and eye/face wash with redundant freeze bleed valve shall include the 3-way “easy activation, easy return” valve design that provides less ‘dead leg’ water, reducing the threat of Legionella growth. The compact design also allows for economical, safe and fast shipment via UPS. Also provided is the AXION® MSR hydrodynamic designed green ABS plastic 10-5/8″ (26.9 cm) showerhead with integral self-regulating 20 gpm flow control, and AXION MSR eye/face wash head shall feature inverted directional laminar flow which achieves Zero Vertical Velocity™ supplied by an integral 4 gpm flow control. MK81A – Freeze-protection Bury Valve

Model MK81A is a special freeze-protected valve that drains water from Model 8300FP combination shower/eyewash after closing to prevent freezing. 1-1/4″ NPT inlet. Standard sizes are 60″ and 78″ (152.4 and 198.1 cm) for bury depths of 24″ and 42″ (61 and 106.7 cm) respectively.

Servicing Instructions: For replacement of damaged parts, order the VRKMK81A repair kit which includes packing, stuffing box, stuffing box nut, spring and plunger assembly with four O-rings.

9400 – AXION® Steam Water Heater

The Haws 9400 AXION® Steam Water Heater replaces hot water tanks when pressurized steam is available. When an emergency shower or eyewash is activated, the flow of water opens a steam control valve. The steam enters a brazed plate heat exchanger, instantly heating the water. This mixing valve blends hot and cold water to produce an output of 80° F (27° C ) tepid water. Additional valves keep the system preheated, freeze protected and scald protected. The steam valve will remain closed should there be a loss of water pressure. This station complies with the ANSI Z358.1 standard and mixing valve is designed to meet ASSE 1071
