8770 – ePODâ„¢ Indoor Gravity Fed Emergency Shower

Model 8770 ePODâ„¢ is the lightweight solution for conditions where there is no potable water available, or water that is available doesn’t meet the requirements for ANSI compliant safety shower operation. The 8770 overhead tank shower (OTS) design stores all the water required for a fully compliant safety shower/eyewash response in a custom engineered tank and tower design. This configuration allows the overhead tank to gravity feed water to both the shower and eyewash. The 8770 is the perfect solution for remote locations without on-site water, locations where plumbing is difficult or economically not feasible, or anywhere a quick, easy to install safety shower solution is needed. This unit includes an aluminum structure with bright green side panels and 530 gallon (2006 L) overhead molded plastic tank. Supplied with a NEMA 4 electrical enclosure with 480V, three phase inlet. The emergency flushing is provided by a hydrodynamic showerhead as well as the medically acclaimed AXION® MSR eyewash. This system is designed to operate with several electrical options. Optional model 9084 cleansing stick can be used to provide continual protection against pathogenic bacteria in the water for up to 3 years. 1-1/2″ and cold stainless-steel pipe inlet.

8336 – AXION® MSR Corrosion Resistant Shower and Eye/Face Wash

The Haws 8336 combination shower and eye/face wash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly (patent pending). This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Traditional eye washes irrigate from the outside edge of the eye back toward the nose, where contaminants can then be flushed into the nasal cavity through the lacrimal punctum, nature’s ocular cavity drain. AXION MSR also offers a new hydrodynamic shower design that minimizes the strong physical pressure that drives the water to the outer rim of normal showerheads, making the distribution equal across the entire footprint of the flow. Better use of the water flowing through the shower makes it more effective while providing a more comfortable environment by breaking the streams of water into smaller individual droplets.

Certified by CSA to meet the ANSI/ISEA Z358.1 Standard for Emergency Eyewash and Shower Equipment.

7777 – AXION® MSR Corrosion Resistant Pedestal Eye/Face Wash

Model 7777 all stainless steel pedestal mounted eye and face wash features the medically acclaimed AXION MSR eye/face wash head assembly (patent pending). This revolutionary inverted flow design is the only product on the market that provides a Medically Superior Response consistent with all EMT, emergency room and doctors’ office protocols by sweeping contaminants away from the vulnerable nasal cavity. Traditional eyewashes irrigate from the outside edge of the eye back toward the nose, where contaminants can then be flushed into the nasal cavity through the lacrimal punctum, nature’s ocular cavity drain. Unit also is equipped with an in-line 50 x 50 mesh water strainer and yellow eyewash head dust cover so when debris is present, the irrigation process stays protected. Solid mounted pedestal design allows the 7777 to be placed securely in multiple locations.
